Book: The Devil Wears Prada

This book is about a girl (Andrea) who wants to be a journalist so she gets a good opportunity to be Miranda Priestly’s assistant, and if she gets through this job for a whole year she gets a reward of being on a cover of a magazine and an article of her on the magazine.
Eventually Andrea finds out she has got the job and is so happy. So the next morning she starts work. But when Andrea first steps in the posh Manhattan offices of Runway she knows nothing. Andrea has never heard of the world’s most fashionable magazine or even Miranda Priestly!!
But soon she knows way too much…
She knows it’s a sacking offence to wear less than a three- inch heel to work, she knows that eight stone is fat, that you can charge anything- cars, manicures, clothes to the Runway account but you must never leave desk or let Miranda’s coffee get cold.         But most of all Andrea knows that Miranda is a monster boss who makes             Cruella de Vil look like a fluffy bunny.
Andrea soon realises she has had enough and can not cope with her monster boss anymore and quits her job. She thinks that now she has quit her job she will not get the job she has wanted for a long time now which is a journalist, but the agency decide to take her anyway because they know how hard you work to be Miranda’s assistant.
